friday dance party : aPOPcalypse

this could be our last friday dance party together, dear reader, if this weekend is indeed the end of the world as we know it.

thanks to  for the youtube video

plan ahead and have an emergency kit on hand in case there is a disaster. as you well know, disasters happen and it's not personal-- disaster is an equal opportunity experience y'all. floods, earthquakes, zombie apocalypse or a christian flavored rapture-- disaster can happen to any lady, any time.

please consider adding tampons and panty liners to that emergency preparedness kit.

first aid kits and toothpaste are all well and good, but having your period sans menstrual accoutrements is primitive; being prepared isn't just for boy scouts. if you think camping with your period is a hassle, imagine fighting off zombies without kotex. it could be quite a situation, and it's all entirely avoidable with a little planning. spend some time preparing your emergency kit because a lady might have to save herself.

remember ladies, the only thing worse then being in a natural disaster is being in a natural disaster with your period sans supplies.
